A leveling foot and a method for producing the same are provided to firmly support an object by increasing the tightness of contact between a bottom surface and the leveling foot. A leveling foot(10) includes a screw member(11), a grip member, a cover(13), and a friction member. The screw member has a male screw portion(11a) which moves relatively to a female screw portion of an object. The grip is fixed at one end of the screw member, and has a plurality of grip surfaces(12a). The cover is connected to the screw member, and has an inside with a hollow portion(13c) and a lower part with a taper portion. The friction member has a taper portion(14a) to be fitted to the taper portion of the cover, and a vertical portion(14b) formed beneath the taper portion of the friction member and protruded outwardly from the cover.
