PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize an inkjet recovery device for recovering the poor ejection of a nozzle of a recording head which is provided in an inkjet recording apparatus. SOLUTION: A maintenance mechanism 80 as the inkjet recovery device comprises: a rotating member 81 which is formed in an almost long shape, and which is arranged in such a manner that its rotational central axis 81a is parallel to the direction of the arrangement of the nozzles; and a plurality of ink absorbers 82a-82d which are arranged around the rotational central axis 81a of the rotating member 81 by being divided at each predetermined angle by a partition plate 81b, which abut on one of nozzle arrays 4k, 4c, 4y and 4m of a recording head 4, and which can absorb ink from leading ends of the respective nozzles of the nozzle arrays 4k-4m. Thus, since the ink absorbers 82a-82d are each arranged around the rotational central axis 81a of the rotating member 81 without being arranged in a line, the maintenance mechanism 80 (by extension, a multifunctional device 1) can be downsized.
