PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for ameliorating accumulated damage of the nail sometimes appearing following the use of nail enamel. SOLUTION: The cosmetic for nail care contains a lavender essential oil. The care of the nail is carried out for a person using the nail enamel by coating the cosmetic to repair the damage of the nail at night. The cosmetic is preferably the one not accompanying wiping operation, and the dosage form is preferably an oil-in-water emulsion type.
