PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technical means concerning a belt type rolling ironer for stretching wrinkles of laundry by ironing the washed and dewatered laundry, capable of releasing the laundry from a cylinder without interposing a tape between the heating cylinder and the laundry or without applying the external force in the direction of returning the laundry to the distal end side of the laundry. SOLUTION: The belt type rolling ironer has a shaker 6a for applying shakes in the vertical direction to a conveyor belt 4a at a position where the laundry is released from the surface of the rotary heating cylinder 1a disposed first at least in a laundry passage. The shaker may be a member to reciprocate in the vertical direction, but the preferable shaker is a rotator 6a with the outer surface 11 to be intermittently brought into contact with the lower surface of the conveyor belt 4a according to the rotation around the axis parallel to the axis of the rotary heating cylinder. The shaker 6a applies a quiver in the vertical direction to the laundry on the conveyor belt 4 to release the laundry from the surface of the cylinder. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
