PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a compressed wood product, which easily mounts a reinforcing member for reinforcing compression-molded wood on the wood. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the compressed wood product includes: a compression process for compression-molding wood into a three-dimensional shape; and a mounting process for mounting the reinforcing member for reinforcing the compression-molded wood on the compression-molded wood by grasping the end part of the wood compressed in the compression process in the wall thickness direction thereof. In the mounting process, the wood and the reinforcing member are grasped by a pair of first and second molds to penetrate the reinforcing member in the end part of the wood.
