PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of joining a distributed map data to a preliminarily stored map data, and capable of searching and guiding the optimum guide route, using the joined map data. SOLUTION: This navigation system is provided with: a guide information storage means 103 for storing guide information; a distribution information storage means 108 for storing distribution information and search information; an information determining means 109 for determining the search for the guide route and the guide to be performed, based on any of the guide information and the distribution information; and a computation processing means 110 for processing the information concerned in the guide for a vehicle.
