PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of quickly displaying information retrieval results without excessively consuming a memory of its terminal and without generating screen transition to a processing request, its method, and its program. SOLUTION: The information retrieval display system comprises a Web server connected via a communication network, a client terminal, and a document server. Separately from a structured language fileβ1 displayed on the client terminal in a overlapped state a structured language fileγ1 is automatically and asynchronously displayed. A structured language file concerned with explanation information which is the explanation informationα1 matching a specific keywordαin the fileβ1 extracted from the document server via the Web server, is made the above fileγ1.
