PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device capable of inspecting simply and quickly existence of a pinhole by dipping a food package or the like into a water tank and measuring a salt content in the water, or each component concentration of sugar, amino acid, alcohol or the like, especially a salt concentration. SOLUTION: This device comprises an inspection tank 1 storing water, a conveyance means 2 for transferring the food package A into the inspection tank 1 and allowing it to pass in the water in the inspection tank 1, and a liquid component concentration meter 3 for measuring each component concentration in the water in the inspection tank 1.
