PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter having a cutter case which has improved operability. SOLUTION: The cutter case (11) has an additional slitlike notch (17) in a cutter back (R) distant from a cutter edge (S) in addition to a notch on the sides (23 and 24) of the case, and additional operating protuberance (22) is partially received into the notch (17), the outside range (26, 27 and 28) of the cutter case (11) surrounding the slitlike notches (15, 16 and 17) forms a surface against which a user's finger and hand butt.
