PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine such as a slot machine capable of performing rotation and stop control of reels by varying the excitation polarity of electromagnets and performing the rotation and stop control of the reels by a simple and small-sized unit by performing the stop control of reel drums by detecting the rotation origins of the reel drums on the basis of the detection of origin detection magnets arranged on the reel drums. SOLUTION: The excitation polarity to be excited to the electromagnets 30L, 30C and 30R is varied and the rotation control and stop control of the reels 3L, 3C and 3R are performed. Also, the rotation origins of the reel drums 24L, 24C and 24R are detected on the basis of the detection of the origin detection magnets 31 arranged on the reel drums 24L, 24C and 24R by magnetic sensors 32L, 32C and 32R, and the reel drums 24L, 24C and 24R in rotation are stopped at desired positions.
