PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixed frame type sash and a sash which eliminate sealing operation between the panel body receiving piece of a vertical frame and the top board of a lower frame, and have excellent watertightness. SOLUTION: In this fixed frame type sash 1, the vertical frame 3 comprises an indoor side panel receiving piece 9 receiving the indoor side-face 7a of a panel 7 in the longitudinal direction of the vertical frame 3. The lower frame 5 comprises a panel mounting groove 37, and a lack part 35 swallowing the lower end of the indoor side panel receiving piece 9 of the vertical frame 3 at the vertical frame side end part of a top board 29 positioned on the indoor side of the panel 7. The lower end 9a of the indoor side panel receiving piece 9 is positioned under the top board 29 of the lower frame 5 and extended downward between the top board and the groove bottom 39 of the panel mounting groove 37. The indoor side-face 9b and the frame inner peripheral side face 9c of the indoor side panel receiving piece 9 at the lower end are brought into contact with the edge parts 41, 43 of the lack part 35.
