<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anticancer agent containing ferulae resina or volatile oil of the same as active ingredient. <P>SOLUTION: This anticancer agent may be the preparations of injection, capsules, liquid droplets, tablets, granules powder or oral liquid. The volatile oil of the ferulae resina contains mainly α-pinene, 2-borneol, di-sec-butyl disulfide, sec-butyl trans-1-butenyl disulfide, sec-butyl-propenyl disulfide, dimethyl disulfide and dimethyl trisulfide. It is possible to extract the volatile oil of the ferulae resina by adopting a normal extraction method. The ferulae resina may be a factice resin derived from Sinkiang ferulae resina or Fukang ferulae resina, and also the factice resin derived from glia ferulae resina grass produced in the countries of Iran, Afghanistan, Sli Lanka, India, Iraq, Bengal, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, etc. The anticancer agent prepared from the ferulae resina or volatile oil of the ferulae resina can be applied for the treatment of patients suffered from various cancers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
