<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power saving system by which current consumption of a plurality of CPUs is individually monitored. <P>SOLUTION: The system 100 is mainly comprised of a plurality of CPU boards 101, a microcomputer 106 and a power unit 112. Each CPU board 101 is mainly comprised of a CPU 102, a CPU power source 103, a current consumption measurement circuit 104 and a processing speed regulation circuit 105. The current consumption of the CPU 102 is measured by measuring both ends voltage of a feedback resistor provided to the CPU power source 103. Thus, the current consumption of the CPU 102 can be measured without voltage drop of the power unit 112. The processing speed regulation circuit 105 transmits a control signal for reducing the current consumption to the CPU 102 based on the measurement result of the current consumption measurement circuit 104. The current consumption of each CPU 102 is individually monitored and the current consumption is controlled by every CPU 102. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
