PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the life of a nozzle longer and stably acquire a high image quality. SOLUTION: In an inkjet recorder equipped with a means for detecting the discharging state of the nozzle and a means for performing the recovery operation of a head, use of the nozzle enabled to discharge by the recovery operation is stopped when the number of ejections exceeds a fixed ejecting number, and the nozzle is treated as a non-discharging one, and then a complementary processing is performed.
