POLYTRIMETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE RESIN COMPOSITION HAVING EXCELLENT IMPACT RESISTANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polytrimethylene terephthalate resin composition having significantly improved impact resistance, especially surface impact resistance while keeping excellent fluidity. SOLUTION: The polytrimethylene terephthalate resin composition is obtained by mixing (A) 100 parts wt. of a resin composed of (a1) a polytrimethylene terephthalate resin and (a2) a thermoplastic polyester resin except a polytrimethylene terephthalate resin in the ratio of (a1)/(a2)=1/0-1/3 with (B) 1-100 parts wt. of an impact resistance modifying material composed of (b1) an ethylene-unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride copolymer (i) and/or an ethylene-unsaturated epoxide copolymer (ii) and (b2) a reactive functional group-free elastomer in the ratio (b1)/(b2)=1/19-19/1.
