PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor and a hard disk drive provided with the rotor. SOLUTION: The hard disk drive is provided with a spindle motor, a disk being a data recording medium set to the spindle motor and rotated, an HSA in which a slider performing recording of data for a disk and/or reading of data from a disk in a state of floating on the disk is mounted at a tip part, and a rotor which is fitted to the spindle motor rotatably and coaxially with the disk and provided with a plurality of blades improving floating force of the slider by increasing speed of an air stream in a disk inside region.
