PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing laminated cores designed to laminate a predetermined number of core pieces with multiple swaging portions formed therein and joining together the laminated core pieces through the swaging portions, wherein a laminated core excellent in accuracy of form, such as perpendicularity and planar parallelism, can be manufactured. SOLUTION: The method includes the steps of: laminating a predetermined number of core pieces by swaging to form a laminated core; measuring a lamination thickness at multiple swaging portions or in proximity to the swaging portions in the laminated core; and computing a variation in lamination thickness at the swaging portions or in proximity to the swaging portions, and pressing the swaging portions or the vicinity of the swaging portions in the laminated core from the direction of lamination so that the variation in lamination thickness is eliminated.
