PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a swelling phenomenon of an end edge of an aperture part of a flexible board associated with a bend thereof when the aperture part is provided at a part opposed to the inner surface of a casing of a display apparatus in the flexible board connected to a terminal part of a display panel. SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal display wherein a liquid crystal display panel 2 having the terminal part 21a to which the flexible board 5 is connected and a backlight unit 3 disposed on the rear side of the liquid crystal display panel are housed in the casing 1 consisting of upper and lower case parts 11 and 12, a fixing means including a locking protrusion 33 is provided between the backlight unit 3 and the lower case part 12, the flexible board 5 is bent along the part from the terminal part 21a to the side surface of the backlight unit 3 and an aperture part 51 to which the locking protrusion 33 is fit is dug in the flexible board 5, a reinforcing member 54 for preventing swelling of the end edge associated with a bend of the flexible board is provided at the peripheral edge of the aperture part 51.
