PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein there is a case of reducing the number of cages installable on a main management chain as a result of expanding a cage pitch more than necessary because of incapability of expanding an interval only in a link pitch unit although a method is also proposed for changing an installation link interval of a cage attachment link in the main management chain so as to install a higher cage in a vertically circulating parking device. SOLUTION: The main management chain 4A is constituted by connecting a plurality of links. Among the plurality of links, a part is first links 4a and 4b, and the other part is a second link 4c different in a pitch from the first links 4a and 4b. A tooth number interval for meshing the first links 4a and 4b on an upper sprocket 2A and a lower sprocket 3A, is made different from a tooth number interval for meshing the second link 4c on the upper sprocket 2A and the lower sprocket 3A.
