<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording device and an optical head that can effectively suppress unwanted fixation of an unrecorded area during fixation processing, using a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: During information recording, a movable lens of an expander lens 104 is disposed at an information recording position. During information fixing, the movable lens of the expander lens 104 is disposed at a fixing processing position. In this case, an area on a recording medium which is irradiated with data light is slightly larger during the information fixation than during the information recording. Consequently, the area irradiated with the data light can be fixed surely during the information recording. Furthermore, the irradiated area is only slightly larger during the information fixation so that an area which is wastefully irradiated can be suppressed to be small. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
