REVERSIBLE THERMOSENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL AND RECORDING MEDIUM USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermosensitive recording material which enables reversible control of lumicous intensity and has a long rewriting durability and a long life of luminescence and extinction.

SOLUTION: The reversible thermosensitive recording material contains an electron-donating coloring compound, an electron-accepting compound and a reversibility agent and utilizes a coloring reaction between the electron-donating coloring compound and the electron-accepting compound. The material contains further a luminescent compound for energy transfer to the electron-donating coloring compound at the time when the electron-donating coloring compound is in a coloring state.
