PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of reducing both of the deteriorations of the waveform precision of a transmission signal respectively caused by switch timing and a cross talk component to transmit an ultrasonic wave of high waveform precision. SOLUTION: A transmitting circuit 1 is constituted so as to individually turn on/off energizing of a current to a plurality of primary coils by a plurality of transistors to output a signal induced by a secondary coil NT to an ultrasonic vibrator T as a transmission signal for radiating an ultrasonic wave. A transmission waveform forming circuit 4 and a gate driving buffer circuit 5 are constituted so as not only to show the on/off operation states of the respective transistors at two high and low levels but also to output mutually different first and second gate drive signals per unit time at the time of the high level and output the first gate drive signal low in supply charge quantity in an SCW mode to the transistor of at least one primary coil while outputting the second gate drive signal in an operation mode different from the SCW mode in condition to the transistor of one primary coil.
