<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for vehicles which makes it easy to quickly recognize required information. <P>SOLUTION: The display device for vehicles includes; a virtual screen drawing part 31 for deciding required virtual screens in accordance with display command signals from a navigation part 14 and information processing parts 16, 18, 20, 22; a display priority decision part 32 for deciding display priorities of the virtual screens on the basis of their display contents; and a display composition screen generation part 35 for putting the virtual screens generated by the virtual screen drawing parts 31, one over another in accordance with the display priorities to generate a display composition screen to be displayed on a display device 42. Thus a window having a second higher display priority or a lower display priority before a change of display contents is placed in the top and information of this window is made easy to see in the case that the highest display priority is given to the window by a change of display contents. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
