<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly reduce recharging power of a charging device when recharging power for recharging the charging device such as a rechargeable battery exceeds an input limit at outputting the requested driving power. <P>SOLUTION: When charging and discharging power Pb for charging and discharging a battery exceeds a range of the input limit Win (S190), it is determined whether or not real engine power Peest exceeds the requested power Pe* (S210). When it exceeds the requested power, an amount of fuel injection of the engine 22 is reduced in a range where emissions of exhaust gas of the engine 22 in not worsened (S220 to S240). Thus, output torque of the engine can be reduced, and the charging and discharging power Pb of the battery can be reduced so that torque Tm1 of an electric motor MG1 is lessened and torque Tm2 of an electric motor MG2 is enlarged.
