PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily recognize which image is important without imposing any labor on the user. SOLUTION: A plurality of images for setting the degree of importance are acquired by reading the plurality of images from a memory card 2. A classification part 30 classifies the plurality of images into a plurality of categories by different figure units included in each image. A setting part 32 sets the high degree of importance in the images classified into each category according as the number of images classified into each category is larger.
