<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant restraining device capable of holding high the internal pressure of a bag. <P>SOLUTION: Fixing parts 12a to a seat pan 8 are provided on the left and right ends of the bag 12, and between them 12a, an air chamber 15 is formed which is inflated with the gas introduced from an inflator 13. The bag 12 is formed by overlapping an upper panel 16 and a lower panel 17 one over another constituting the upper half and the lower half of the outside surface at inflation of the bag 12, in which their peripheral edge parts are adhered to each other using a resilient bonding agent 19 to exhibit an elongation of 200% or more, for example 200-400%, and are sewn together into a sack form. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
