CONTAMINANT DIFFUSION SIMULATION SYSTEM, CONTAMINANT DIFFUSION SIMULATION METHOD, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a parameter indicating a plane shape of a building appropriately and quickly in performing a contaminant diffusion simulation.

SOLUTION: The contaminant diffusion simulation system comprises: a hard disk 3 for storing an electronic map having outline data indicating a plane vision outline of the building; an outline data extraction part 13 for extracting outline data; an end point extraction part 14 for extracting an easternmost end point, a westernmost end point, a southernmost end point, and northernmost end point from the outline data; a shape identification part 15 for identifying whether or not a square formed by the four end points extracted by the end point extraction part 14 are rectangular; a rectangle forming part 16 for forming a rectangle similar to a square when the square is not identified as a rectangle by the shape identification part 15; and a diffusion distribution calculation part 18 for calculating the diffusion distribution of the contaminant released into the air by taking into consideration shape data indicating shape properties of the rectangle.
