PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture display module which can be made thin without increasing working man-hours, and which is very advantageous as a display of a mobile device that is strongly required to be thin. SOLUTION: The picture display module is so constituted that: engaging hooks 14 are erected respectively on both of the longitudinal side plates 123 of a frame case 1 in which a liquid crystal display panel is stored and held; an FPC 4 conductively jointed to the liquid crystal display panel is folded back along the outer face of the bottom plate 11 of the frame case 1 and its ear part 41 is locked with the corresponding engaging hook 14; the frame case 1 in this state is covered with a shield case 2; and the ear part 41 is pressed and held by each of the inside faces of the shield case side plate 23a and 23c in a state in which the ear part 41 locked with the engaging hook 14 is housed in a groove part 1241 of the frame case side plate 123. Thus, the mounting state wherein the folded back FPC 4 lies along the bottom face of a recessed section 111 of the bottom plate 11 is surely maintained for a long period of time.
