PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fatigue strength of a weld part by providing a technology in which a reinforcing member of a closed sectional structure such as a U-shaped rib and a deck plate are subjected to the full penetration welding by using a large current pulse MAG welding method. SOLUTION: In a deck plate reinforcing method for reinforcing a deck plate by welding a rib of a closed sectional structure to the deck plate, a toe of the rib is welded to the deck plate by a penetration bead full penetration welding method.
