PURPOSE:To increase the capacity of a tape and a pen writing space without raising cost by providing an identification card write/read compatible device which writes an identification code onto a paper-made identification card with magnetic tape, and which reads the written identification code. CONSTITUTION:A recorder 2 that can read and write the paper-made identification card with magnetic tape 1 in which the identification code (i) is written and which can read the code (i) is provided. Therefore, with only inserting the identification cord (i) which is allocated at every patient into the recorder 2 and writing the identification code (i), the identification code (i) can be inputted in times of need without depending on a keyboard 3, and the input of the identification code (i) is facilitated whereby misoperation can be prevented. Thus, the identification card 1 can be enlarged without raising cost by using the paper-made identification card, and the capacity of the tape can be increased, whereby the pen writing space can be enlarged. |
