<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary press wherein a specified print quality is ensured even when diameter of a printing cylinder is changed. <P>SOLUTION: This rotary press 1 features the advantages where the cut-off length of a web 11 to which an image is transferred from the surface of a printing cylinder, can be changed by altering the diameters of the printing cylinders 15 and 17, and where even when the cut-off length is changed, the rotary press 1 is operated so that the number of revolutions of the printing cylinders 15 and 17 per unit time during printing is set so as to be constant. In the rotary press 1, the setting of the rate of change of a running speed of the web 11 is altered so as to allow the rate of change to be constant, when the diameters of the printing cylinders 15 and 17 are altered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
