PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for a vehicle capable of restraining a disturbance torque more precisely, and preventing a wrong assist and deterioration of a steering feeling without complication of a system. SOLUTION: This steering device for a vehicle for controlling a steering auxiliary torque according to a steering torque comprises disturbance torque detection means detecting a disturbance torque acting on a steering torque by disturbance, braking and driving force detection means (accelerator opening sensor 18, brake operation quantity sensor 19) detecting a braking and driving force Fx acting on front wheels 12, 13, a horizontal slide angle sensor 20 detecting a horizontal slide angleβof the front wheels 12, 13, disturbance restraining torque calculation means multiplying the disturbance torque with a correction gain K according to the braking and driving force Fx and the horizontal slide angleβand calculating the disturbance restraining torque, and steering auxiliary torque correction means for correcting a steering auxiliary torque based on the disturbance restraining torque.
