PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase effect canceling inertia force generated by motion of a piston, a connecting rod, and a crankshaft. SOLUTION: A pair of sub-cylinders 14-1, 14-2 are oppositely arranged and a main cylinder 12 is arranged therebetween in a direction in parallel with a rotation center axis of the crankshaft 20. The distance y1 between a center axis of the sub-cylinder 14-1 and a center axis of the main cylinder 12 is established to be equal to the distance y2 between a center axis of the sub-cylinder 14-2 and the center axis of the main cylinder 12. Inertia force in a left-and-right and a up-and-down directions generated by the main cylinder 12 is balanced out by inertia force in a left-and-right and a up-and-down directions generated by a pair of the sub-cylinders 14-1, 14-2 irrespective of engine rotation order components without generating moment.
