PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lawn mower with which the number of revolutions is changed to a low speed when a noise is suppressed and the number of revolutions is freely varied to a number of revolutions suitable for an operation state. SOLUTION: The lawn mower is equipped with a revolution number changing switch 8 for changing the number of revolutions of a motor. A current limiting element is connected in parallel to the revolution number changing switch 8. A power source is directly connected to the motor in ON states of an operation switch 39a and the revolution number changing switch 8, respectively, and the motor is rotated at a high speed. The current limiting element 10 is inserted between the motor and the power source in an ON state of a switch handle and an OFF state of the revolution number changing switch 8 and an electric current flowing in the motor 16 is limited to rotate the motor at a low speed.
