PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat display having high picture quality, high flexibility, and high elasticity. SOLUTION: The flat display comprises a plurality of pixels disposed in a matrix pattern on a substrate. The plurality of pixels include a thin-film transistor having a channel area including a nanowire, a nanorod, a nanoribbon, or a nanotube and include a display device driven by the thin-film transistor. The axial direction of the nanowire, the nanorod, the nanoribbon, or the nanotube is the same as the source-drain direction of the channel area, and the axial direction is bent so as to intersect the source-drain direction.
