In order to seal a housing (1) that is provided with a flange (2) and needs to be connected to a wall cutout or another flange, the invention proposes a flange gasket (7) with collars (11) that protrude from the material plane (9 ) of the flange gasket (7) and are arranged in the region of mounting holes (3) i n the flange (2), wherein mounting screws (5) are inserted into the openings (10) of said collars and held therein at least until the installation of the flange.
