PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the rate at which an automatic ticket gate closes because of insufficient balance.

SOLUTION: A mobile navigation system includes a balance storage means KC11 for storing the balance available for settling fare for transportation; a fare calculation means for calculating the fare for transportation for a route used by transportation to connect two different positions; a balance comparison means for comparing the fare calculated by the fare calculation means to the balance; and a result notification means KC5E for notifying the user of the result of comparison by the balance comparison means.
