PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper structure which can obtain a high strength structure even by using a paper product using an agricultural product material or the like of weak strength etc. SOLUTION: The paper product comprising a biodegradable plastic substrate 1 and surface coating materials 2 and 3 formed on the biodegradable plastic substrate is used in the paper structure. Between upper layer paper 4 having an approximately uniform surface made of the paper product and lower layer paper 5, intermediate layer paper 6 in which at least two square pyramids having a square vertical cross section, sides in the shape of an equilateral triangle, and no bottom surface are arranged without spacing is held. The four sides of the bottom surface edge part of the square pyramid are adhered to the lower layer paper, and the apex part of the square pyramid is adhered to the upper layer paper.
