PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method of an air conditioner that locally increases an oxygen concentration of air breathed by a user by making the oxygen concentration of the air breathed by the user higher than that of atmospheric air by an oxygen enrichment device with small energy consumption in the operation of the air conditioner, and certainly supplies oxygen-enriched air from the oxygen enrichment device to a respiratory system of the user regardless of the operation mode of a cooling/heating means, in an air-conditioning system from which at least a part of the oxygen-enriched air and air-conditioning air are overlapped and blown off. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises an oxygen enrichment means 11 for supplying oxygen-enriched air with oxygen concentration higher than that of atmospheric air to a closed space, and the cooling/heating means 21 for conditioning a temperature in the closed space. A delivery port 17 of the oxygen-enriched air of the oxygen enrichment means 11 and delivery ports 24 and 25 of the air-conditioning air of the cooling/heating means 21 are integrally arranged. In an operation method of the air conditioner, by alternatively operating the operation mode of the oxygen enrichment means 11 and the operation mode of the cooling/heating means 21, the oxygen-enriched air by the oxygen enrichment means 11 and the air-conditioning air of the cooling/heating means 21 are alternately blown off.
