<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add a pattern in order to prevent the original picture quality of an original image from being deteriorated. <P>SOLUTION: This image processing is provided to detect a pattern from an input image, to make area separation according to the characteristics of the input image, and to edit the pattern according to the detected pattern and the area separation result.
