<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secure and extremely easily usable connection method for a network and connection device for the network, performing authentication processing of a client device connectable to a server device via an electric communication line, and connecting the client device to the server device. <P>SOLUTION: This network connection device comprises an external connection type storage means freely detachable to a connection terminal provided in the client device, storing identification information of the server device connected with the client device, a program used for connection processing to the server device, and authentication information used for the connection authentication of the server device.
