PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor reducing machining man hour and reducing cost by matching an outer diameter of a thrust plate for receiving thrust force of a drive shaft provided on an auxiliary bearing to a diameter of a hole for inserting bearing bushing in the auxiliary bearing and positioning a thrust plate by one hole. SOLUTION: This compressor consists of a compression part provided in a hermetic vessel 1, a motor 3 provided with a drive shaft 7 transmitting rotary force to the compression part, a main bearing and the auxiliary bearing 10 pivotally supporting the drive shaft, an oil pump 14 supplying lubricating oil to the compression part provided at a lower part of the drive shaft. The auxiliary bearing is provided with the thrust plate 12 receiving thrust force of the drive shaft at the shaft hole bottom part. The outer diameter of the thrust plate is matched to the diameter of the hole for inserting the bushing 11 provided in an inner circumference surface of the auxiliary bearing and a bottom surface of the thrust plate is supported in a lateral direction by a casing of an oil pump.
