PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacity stabilizing method of a membrane filtering apparatus treating final washing waste water discharged from a cation electrodeposition coating process. SOLUTION: In this operation method of the membrane filtering apparatus, the concentration of dried solid matter of waste water is adjusted to 0.1 wt.% or more, then the waste water is passed to the membrane filtering apparatus.
