PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small module and a system for realizing an autofocusing detection. SOLUTION: The system as an auxiliary module 10 and an imaging module 20. The imaging module 20 includes an imaging element 22, a lens superposed thereon, and a signal processing means 21 to process signals from the imaging element 22 and to adjust the position of the lens 23. The auxiliary module 10 includes an imaging element 12, a lens 13 superposed thereon, and a signal processing means 11 to process signals from the imaging element 12 and to supply range information to the signal processing means 21. The lens 23 of the imaging module 20 is coarsely positioned at a focal length by the range information from the auxiliary module 10 and then accurately focused by fine adjustment of the module.
