PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure an ventilation passage even if a ceiling height is set high; to enhance a heat radiation effect of a roof by performing the ventilation of a roof without a hitch; and to efficiently prevent the intrusion of heat into a room. SOLUTION: A plurality of heat insulating materials 1 are provided on the backside of the roof 10 provided on a building frame A, and juxtaposed in a ridge direction from an edge 10a of eaves of the roof 10. In the installation structure of the plurality of heat insulating materials 1, the plurality of heat insulating materials 1 are installed at an predetermined interval H1 between the plurality of heat insulating materials 1 and the backside of a sheathing roof board 10b of the roof 10, so that a first ventilation passage 2 can be formed between the plurality of heat insulating materials 1 and the backside of the sheathing roof board 10b; and the plurality of heat insulating materials 1 are installed at a predetermined interval H2 between the adjacent heat insulating materials 1 and 1, so that a second ventilation passage 3 can be formed between the adjacent heat insulating materials 1 and 1.
