SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MULTI-NETWORK ELEMENT MANAGEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time required for data change when moving a specific node as a lower node of another upper-level node in a tree structure of element management system (EMS). SOLUTION: The element management system includes plural network elements. The system is comprised of a step for giving unique IDs to the respective network elements; a step for storing the unique IDs of the respective network and the connection relations between the respective network elements; and a step for storing other names (Alias) of the network elements corresponding to the respective unique IDs. The system is characterized in that it displays other names of the network elements corresponding to the unique IDs on a management screen of an operator when network configuration information is required.
