PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warming footwear which is of a cordless type requiring no power source cord, performs heating and insulating heat, is lightweight, keeps optimal temperature for a long period of time, and enables a user to freely walk while using the warming footwear. SOLUTION: A flat heater 1 having a shape matching the region of a foot is used as a heat source and arranged so as to be layered on a foot warming part 21 inside a footwear 2. A secondary battery 13 to be repetitively charged/discharged is arranged inside the warming footwear in the same way. Electricity from the second battery 13 which is charged by an outer charger 4 is supplied to the surface shape heater 1 to generate heat and warm a toe, etc. An overtemperature monitor part 16 is provided for the surface shape heater 1, and consequently the power source is on/off-controlled to obtain the optimum temperature, so that continuous usage time is prolonged by saving power.
