<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary connector capable of suppressing abnormal noise generated from a sliding part between a stator housing and a rotor housing. <P>SOLUTION: This rotary connector is provided with: the stator housing 1 with an outer tubular body 6 erected thereon; a lower rotor 9 snap-connected to the inside surface of an inner tubular body 8b; a holder 4 rotatably disposed in an annular housing space 3 delimited between the rotor housing 2 composed of an upper rotor 8 and the lower rotor 9, and the stator housing 1; and a flat cable 5 housed in the housing space 3 with its rolling direction reversed in an intermediate part thereof; and is so structured that the flat cable 5 is rolled around the outer tubular body 6 and the inner tubular body 8b in directions opposite to each other after the reversing part passes an opening of the holder 4. By fixing a spacer 10 to the lower circumferential surface of the inner tubular body 8b and by catching the circumference of a center hole 7a of a lower cover 7 by the spacer 10 and a flange part 9c of the lower rotor 9, the stator housing 1 and the rotor housing 2 are restricted in the axial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
