PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sender information displaying method by which information on a telecommunication corporation of a telephone equipment at an initiating party, and to provide a telephone equipment. SOLUTION: When a call request information is transmitted from a mobile phone 2 to a telephone equipment 1, an intermediary device in the base station 3 of the mobile phone 2 adds, to the call request information, information on the telecommunication corporation of the mobile phone 2, namely telecommunication corporation information (hereunder referred to as a carrier). The call request information added with carrier information is transmitted to the telephone equipment 1 via a telephone exchange system 4.
