<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface sequential illuminating apparatus wherein the utilizing efficiency of illuminating light emitted from a light source is improved, and also, color reproducibility is improved, and also to provide an image projecting apparatus equipped with the surface sequential illuminating apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The surface sequential illuminating apparatus 10 introducing a surface sequential system for sequentially emitting a plurality of kinds of color illuminating light is provided with: the light source 11; and an illuminating light converting means 12 for sequentially converting the plurality of kinds of color illuminating light emitted from the light source 11 so that the emitted light intensity is separately enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
